The objective was to create a tool from which businesses will be able to pay and place ads on major news portals as per the requirement. The foundation of this project was establishing the objectives of the users—what they hoped to achieve with the system and the best way to present the information they required—as well as developing flexible layouts and look-and-feel designs that would work with a variety of devices and screen sizes.
The major requirement from the client’s end was to create a proper, Ad placement platform along with the features that support ad display and slots allocation. The payment calculation was to be based on the allocated Ads. The application also required a content management system for creating, managing, and aligning content as per the content plan and strategy. A feature that can calculate the impressions per post was also to be developed to help track the marketing goals. Also, they also wanted to calculate and analyze the impression per post efficiently.
Worldwide in-app advertising is expected to be a $200 billion market in the next few years. When we think about the opportunities to cater to this pool of highly scalable markets, it is immense. Similarly, when we think about the challenges to develop a system to cater to this pool of highly scalable markets, it is immense too. On top of it, developing an architecture that will be used to indulge a futuristic market requires a lot of effort. Conceptualizing an innovative application, and developing a critical wireframe, all of this work should have been completed before beginning the app development process, unlike website creation, there were many aesthetics to approve with the material, which was challenging in itself.
The client's main request was to develop innovative ad management software, so spending on advertising would boost the online ad system. However, it was also necessary to develop an ad placement platform with features that allow ad display and slot distribution. The software was able to organize the advertisements schedules in an efficient way. It created the turbulent impact on the operational efficiency of above 30% of the ads companies who are using our software. We developed a system that reduces 50% of the duplicate effort by enabling users to request an ad post, update an ad request, cancel an ad request, or archive an ad request.
